Living Arrows - 4/52 (2019)

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”

Our week has been pretty busy and I definitely feel like Christmas is a far cry away now! I had some how forgotten how consumed with school, work and after school clubs our lives were as we had a bit of a break over Christmas but we are well and truly back into the swing of it now.

James swims with a local swimming club and currently swims Wednesday, Friday and Sunday as well as attending a land training session on a Tuesday, Evelyn then swims on a Monday too. Throw in homework, spellings, reading and a film club and this week has felt really busy and I have been trying to get to bed a little earlier each night to compensate.

As we have been so busy we decided on Sunday we would head out for a delicious meal that nobody had to cook or wash up, so a local pub it was. The food was great and the kids certainly enjoyed their ice creams. That's where this weeks pictures are from...

  1. Sounds like a busy week and quite full on but the kids enjoy it and I guess that is the main thing. Meal out of Sunday is a good idea

  2. Wow those ice creams look amazing! I thought my back to back swimming lessons on a Thursday were time consuming but your whole week is taken up by it - I'm sure it'll be worth it in the long run! x

  5. Wow! That's a lot of swimming - it feels like we're always at the pool when the boys only go once a week! Those ice creams look amazing too - it's lovely to have a meal when no one has to cook or wash up sometimes :) #LivingArrows
