He rushes off and puts his 'Saturday money' in his money box which his aunt gave him for Christmas. At the moment he seems happy to leave it in there.Jibberjabberukhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06866442037111512860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2092262512198791277.post-4765288316005760922015-09-07T10:43:49.120+01:002015-09-07T10:43:49.120+01:00Love the piggy bank! They're asking and learning about money all the time, so it would help I'm sure.Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15709965206400043264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2092262512198791277.post-91460153465710420022015-09-07T09:22:47.760+01:002015-09-07T09:22:47.760+01:00My little boy is only two and a half at the moment...My little boy is only two and a half at the moment and doesn't receive pocket money because he's too young to understand about it yet but when he's older I definitely will introduce it to him. I did give my little peeps pocket money but I haven't over the summer as I've been paying for lots of day trips and weekends away etc anyway. It will resume this week however. That waythey did not do things for pocket money and I had no need to withhold it. However I learnt a good trick on holidays to avoid the asking for ice cream and treats I gave them an allowance to spend as they wished, daily or to save for a big treat. My daughter actually started saying ice creams were a rip off and refused to buy haha, she saved money for a toy or clothes<br />Jo Bryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16469769961218586739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2092262512198791277.post-37845331531268881712015-09-04T16:11:28.826+01:002015-09-04T16:11:28.826+01:00Yup - I love this idea! When I was a child I had the choice to either have pocket money OR just have something when we were out. I never had pocket money and I've grown up to be extremely wise with my money. I don't believe children have to have pocket money to learn the value of money. xRachel Nealhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11864488487292013497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2092262512198791277.post-56295943039407709372015-09-04T14:59:54.456+01:002015-09-04T14:59:54.456+01:00That's so lovely - and really interesting. She gets quite a few extras for reviews, and to entertain her on flights, already so this might be something we'll think about soon.MummyTravelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12627178134463451452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2092262512198791277.post-90480089713215728212015-08-09T17:51:14.883+01:002015-08-09T17:51:14.883+01:00Totally agree!
