For many children, swimming lessons can feel daunting at first. The noise of the pool, the unfamiliar sensation of water on their face, and the fear of letting go of the side can all create anxiety. But swimming is a life skill and something I firmly believe all children should learn to some degree for their own safety. Whilst many children can be nervous or anxious when they first start out in the pool, with the right support and structure, those nerves can quickly transform into confidence.
