Summer Giveaway - WIN a Nintendo Switch Lite!

The summer holidays are finally here and after a year that has felt so topsy turvy I cannot wait to be able to spend time with the kids whilst not in a strict lockdown! However it's only been three days and I am already fed up of hearing my name, the bickering and cries of how hungry or bored they are, whoever thought six weeks for summer was a good idea!?

Anyway whilst we do enjoy lots of days out, adventures, swimming and even the odd camping trip here and there, I think we can all appreciate a little down time too and that's where their consoles and devices come into their own. Whilst I am sure many of you can agree that none of us want our kids sat at a screen all day they certainly have their time and place when you need to get something done, housework, work etc. So today I am hoping I can offer an amazing prize to one of you guys too... a Brand New Nintendo Switch Lite!

Keep reading below to find out all about the Nintendo Switch Lite, and find out how you can enter to win one.

4 Ways to Help Raise an Environmentally Conscious Child

 **Advertisement Feature**

We have all heard about the difference we can make to keep our world beautiful and to help it and it is so important that we ensure our kids have this knowledge too. Showing our future generations how to be conscious about our planet will give them the tools for years to come and hopefully help our planet too. These changes can be small, any environmental change is going to be good and the more we can teach our children about how and why this is so important the better, they are never too young to learn.

It’s now become a more prominent issue in our lives that should be taken seriously and will come as a huge benefit for children to learn about. With this guide from a girls
private school in Surrey, we show you how to educate your child and help them understand how they can help the environment too.

Exploring Gratitude With Your Child

Being grateful goes beyond just teaching your child manners, it’s also about how to approach others with respect, how to speak to others when they need us and approaching situations with positivity where we can. All of these are important skills to have as we go through life so teaching, modelling and exploring these behaviours with your children from early on is always going to be beneficial.

A lot of children are given gifts that they may not understand how to appreciate others for, and give them a sense of entitlement. Children can learn about how to be grateful for what they have and how to be respectful of others through a range of ways and here are some tips of doing just that from a day nursery in St. Margerets.
