Bringing The Outdoors Inside Your Home

**Advertisement Feature**

I don't know about you but there is something I find so calming about being outdoors. The sounds, smells and the fresh air.

In spring I love seeing the signs of new life, the pops of colour that begin to spring up at the first signs of sunshine. The dewy mornings and warm afternoons when the sun eventually peeks through. In the summer I love feeling the sun on my skin, the smell of fresh cut grass, BBQ's, warm sun on golden sands, the sound of waves crashing and kids laughing.

In the Autumn its the beautiful colours that lines the streets thanks to the leaves that fall from the trees. It the fluffy socks and chunky knit jumpers and the squirrels that forage among the conker shells. In the winter its snow days, snowmen, pjs nights and of course Christmas and everything that comes with it!

So it safe to say I love the outdoors, its calming, soothing and I love the idea of bringing all those feelings into my home through colours, furniture and artwork. I am a huge fan of the rustic Scandi style, there is just something about it that feels so cosy, warm and family style with the bare wood and simplistic beauty.

Any space can be transformed into a space you love, whether that's incorporating all of your favourite things about the outdoors or focusing on one element. The great thing about designing your own space it that it's just that, your OWN space.

It could be bringing in furniture made from natural wood, stone or materials. It could be colours inspired by landscapes or places you love or even something simple like bringing in plants to have around your home. Something me and the kids love to do is find bits and pieces when we are out on adventure. Things like shells, drift wood or other interesting things and we then made decorations out of them to have around the home.

They really do look lovely and whilst they are bringing the outdoors inside, they are also full or memories too.

But why stop at your own home? If you own your own business, perhaps a restaurant or hotel have you explored the benefits or transforming the space into a calm, relaxing area for guests? The team at Object Space Place can help you define the steps to get where you want to be and then help you get there, bringing your dream into reality.

Do you have a space you would love to see transformed? How would you transform your space?

xXx
