BakedIn Baking Club Subscription Box -Chocolate Drip Cake

**AD - Review**

I love to bake! Baking with my nan are some of my fondest memories with her, she taught me how to bake and how to be creative with her signature being the classic butterfly cakes. I remember being around 7 or 8, kneeling on a stool in my nans kitchen as she taught me how to whip up cake mixture to get the most air into and always letting me lick the bowl afterwards.

With all those fond memories you would think we bake lots in our home now right? But unfortunately not. The kids love baking too but whenever they suggest it we always seem to be missing a vital ingredients or don't have quite enough of something (and winging it never seems to work, believe me we have tried!).

So when the lovely team over at Bakedin offered us the chance to try out some of their monthly Bakedin Baking Club boxes we couldn't wait for it to land on our doorstep.

The Bakedin Baking Club box is a monthly subscription baking box delivered straight to your door. Each month the box will contain a new recipe along with all of the dry ingredients, perfectly way out to minimise waste and to make things super easy. The box also contains any other essentials you might need such as baking paper and other handy extras too.

You will also receive an easy to follow instruction sheet in the box which tells you step by step how to make the recipe inside. It also lists any ingredients you may need to have in such as eggs as well as listing the ingredients that are included (with the measurements too). I love that the guide lists all the ingredients including the ones already included as it means you can keep the guide to make the recipe again and again long after you have made it from the baking club box.

The easy to follow instructions were great and so easy to follow it meant the kids could really get stuck in with helping too. I think these boxes would be great for older kids age 10/11 up to follow by themselves too (maybe with you on hand in case they have any questions etc). The fact the ingredients were all measured out ready to use meant minimal mess and you really couldn't muck the recipe up as everything is measured and weighed for you!

Here is our finished cake, the chocolate drip cake and it was super delicious! It was our very first attempt at a drip cake and the easy to follow instructions made it feel really easy to do. It's definitely a technique I will be using again.

The box teaches you how to make everything from the sponge to the buttercream, we even made toffee to go into our buttercream so you really get a sense of "baking" not just adding ingredients together. Oh and did I mention, the finished product is totally delicious thanks to the high quality ingredients Bakedin use.

The baking club boxes are a subscription service however there are plenty of options when it comes to purchasing your box and you are never tied into a subscription you don't want. Bakedin make it super simple to cancel at any time. You can choose between paying monthly for a one off box, quarterly, 6 monthly or even every 12 months. Of course the longer your subscribe the cheaper the box, starting at £9 for one box to £7.50 per month if you sign up to a 12 month subscription. Each box is delivered around the middle of the month.

If you fancy joining the baking club yourself why not head over to the website and sign up! Don't forget to share your makes and bakes on the Bakedin Facebook page too so they (and I!) can see all your fabulous creations.

xXx

**We received a 3 month subscription to the Bakedin Baking Club for the purpose of this review. However all words, opinions and images are my own.**
