Christmas Gift Ideas For Preschoolers.
Christmas seems to have crept up on me this year. I can't believe its almost the middle of November and Christmas will be here in just 6 weeks! I definitely still have lots more shopping today and have been searching online for some fun and interesting gift idea's for Evelyn who turned 3 in the summer.

BABY Born Interactive Doll **REVIEW**
Evelyn has reached that age where she adores dolls and babies so when we were recently offered the chance to review one of the dolls from Zapf Creation I knew Evelyn would be only to happy to help!
We received the BABY Born Interactive doll.
The BABY Born Interactive doll is a hard bodied doll which comes with plenty of accesories. Included in the box with the BABY Born is 1 body suit, 1 hat, 1 plate with spoon, 1 bottle with lid, 1 potty, 1 dummy, 1 nappy, 1 portion of porridge, 1 friendship bracelet each for your child and the doll and a birth certificate.
The BABY Born interactive doll is a good size and weight which definitely makes this doll feel more realistic than other dolls we have had. It feels sturdy and has movable arms, legs and head. One of the reasons we went for a hard bodied doll is because Evelyn likes to take her dolls everywhere including the garden and the bath! BABY Born is able to do all this and be easily wiped down is needed which is a big bonus.
The BABY Born doll has several interactive features including the ability to cry, wee and poo, the doll is for children age 3+ although as Evelyn is only 2 she wasn't to interested in these features just yet and was happy to just pretend. As I mentioned the doll is aimed at children age 3+ and Evelyn is only 2 but she got on just fine with the doll and really loves playing with it. We did have a go at making it cry but found it quite difficult and I would imagine a child would find it quite difficult to apply enough pressure to make tears appear on their own so this may require some help from a grown up.
I would have loved to have had a few more nappies/ portions of food for the baby in the box as the set does only come with 1 of each of these and they were used quite quickly. However I have noticed you can purchase these separately so if you are thinking of purchasing this doll I would definitely recommend purchasing some of these at the same time to go with your doll.
The BABY Born Interactive doll is currently priced at £44.99 and we think its definitely a worth while investment. I can see Evelyn spending years playing with this doll and with so many accessories to buy for it and outfits to change there is always plenty to add to your child's doll. It is great for role play and imaginative play and being such a sturdy doll is made to last.

Little Tikes spinning seas water table **REVIEW**
As summer fast approaches my mind has turned to getting the garden ready for the summer. Both James and Evelyn love being out in the garden and now that Evelyn is a little older this year and can really get around outside and enjoy it, I wanted to make sure they had plenty to play with.
So, when the lovely people at Little Tikes offered us a Spinning Sea's water table to try out, we couldn't wait for it to arrive. If the splashing, they do in the bath is anything to go by I knew it would be a big hit!
When the spinning sea's water table arrived, it came in several pieces with clear to follow picture/text instructions. It's pretty simple to put together though with most pieces just clicking into place and only a few screws needed to hold together the centre column, then it was ready for the kids to play.
The water table is made of sturdy plastic with a smooth finish and chunky plastic legs which provide a stable surface and the perfect height for little people to play. When built the water table stands at approx. 17 inches tall which is a perfect height for Evelyn who is 2, she found it easy to reach all the bits within the table without struggle or having to lean over or stretch too much.
The bright colours on the table make it eye catching and it looks great in the garden! It comes with plenty of accessories including the centre column with a large basin on top which leads to 2 windmill style spinners, simply throw the ball in the top and see where it lands! There is also a catapult to spring the balls into the water table and a Ferris wheel style ball catcher that can be spun around.
The Spinning Sea's water table has already provided hours of fun for James and Evelyn, and I know it will be getting lots of use for summers to come. The water table is well built, sturdy and really built to last even against boisterous toddler play as would be expected from a fantastic brand like Little Tikes.
If you are looking for something for your garden this year, I would highly recommend the spinning sea's water table as it provides hours of fun and doesn't take up a huge amount of space (especially important if you have a smaller garden like us). My children are aged 2 and 6 and both enjoyed splashing around in it.

Run-Along Twirlywoo **REVIEW**
If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook it will come as no surprise when I mention that Evelyn is a huge fan of the Twirlywoos. Its her favourite program and she gets so excited whenever she hears the theme song coming on the TV.
We have serveral Twirlywoo teddies that Evelyn takes everywhere so when we were given the opportunity to try out the new Run-Along Twirlywoo I jumped at the chance, knowing Evelyn's little face would be a picture receiving it and I wasn't wrong!
Upon opening the box there was feet stomping, squealing, laughter and lots of smiling when she realised it was a Twirlywoo in the box, the squealing got louder when she realised this Twirlywoo moved!
If you have ever watched the Twirlywoos you will have seen them dashing around with their rather cute and funny run which involves the Twirlywoos throwing their arms behind their backs. Its this cute run that the new toy Golden Bear toy focuses on and Evelyn has had lots of fun recreating with her very own run-along Twirlywoo.
The run-along twirlywoo is easy to use, you simply push gently on the hand which makes the Twirlywoo make a noise and begin running. I love that it is so easy to activate and use as it means even Evelyn who is 20 months is able to use it herself.
The Twirlywoo itself is brightly coloured and well made, its looks and feels sturdy and durable which is always a plus point for us as Evelyn can often get a little carried away when playing, The toy feels very soft too.
Both Evelyn and James found it hilarious to watch the Twirlywoo scuttle across the floor with its signature run and sounds. Our run-along Twirlywoo was able to run on any surface we placed it including the tiled kitchen floor, on carpet and even outdoors with ease although we found the smoother surfaces the best.
Each Twirlywoo is available in the run-along variety with each having its own unique sounds. The run-along Twirlywoo is available to purchase from Argos and is priced at £19.99, which we thought was a very fair price for an electronic toy that is well made and durable.
