Summer Giveaway - WIN a Nintendo Switch Lite!

**Giveaway**

The summer holidays are finally here and after a year that has felt so topsy turvy I cannot wait to be able to spend time with the kids whilst not in a strict lockdown! However it's only been three days and I am already fed up of hearing my name, the bickering and cries of how hungry or bored they are, whoever thought six weeks for summer was a good idea!?

Anyway whilst we do enjoy lots of days out, adventures, swimming and even the odd camping trip here and there, I think we can all appreciate a little down time too and that's where their consoles and devices come into their own. Whilst I am sure many of you can agree that none of us want our kids sat at a screen all day they certainly have their time and place when you need to get something done, housework, work etc. So today I am hoping I can offer an amazing prize to one of you guys too... a Brand New Nintendo Switch Lite!

Keep reading below to find out all about the Nintendo Switch Lite, and find out how you can enter to win one.

Nintendo Switch Lite

A Nintendo Switch Lite is a smaller and more compact version of the Nintendo Switch. So although you cannot use the Lite for playing games on the Tv, it is much better for travelling. As it is smaller, it is also better for smaller hands to be able to hold and play it.

The Nintendo Switch Lite retails at £199.99 and the games are bought separately. You can buy them from the Nintendo shop online if you want a digital download. Or most supermarkets or toy shops sell them as a physical game.

The screen is 5.5 inches in size, if you compare it to an iPhone 12 for size, you can see that it is slightly smaller than the phone. But it also has a 720p touch display which are awesome specs for playing games. it also comes in grey, coral, yellow and blue. So there are a wide variety of colours if you need to buy a few for the different members of the family. You get to choose the colour when you order the console*.

The battery lasts between 3 - 7 hours and you can add a memory card for extra storage of games. You can usually get a cheap memory card from Amazon.

  8. I will give the switch to my lovely step-son (8), he definitely deserves it after the past year of Covid disruptions, he is also going to be a big bro soon, so a gift like this would make his day/year! And let him know that even though things are changing he's still the most important little guy in our lives.

  14. A fantastic prize! I would give it to my 6 year old daughter. it would stop the arguments between her and her 11year old brother over the games console as they only get a set amount of time a day and always argue over who gets it first. i'd love to be able to keep them both happy. Good luck!
