4 Things to Get Excited about this Fall/Autumn

**Collaborative Post**

With summer gone and the fall routine finding its way back into our lives, some people might find themselves feeling a little down during this transition, saying goodbye to beautifully warm sunshine and blue skies is hard. But the fall season is an amazing time if you look at it the right way. You just have to embrace all the great things about fall and start giving fall its own well-deserved recognition. So for all the people who are struggling with seeing the beauty of fall, we’ve got you.

In this article, we’re going talk about exciting things about the fall season and how to embrace all of them. Read along and get ready to have a new favourite time of the year.

Cosy Activities

As the weather gets colder, it's the perfect time to embrace all things cosy. From curling up with a good book and a warm blanket to enjoying hot cocoa by the fireplace, fall is the season that encourages us to slow down and enjoy these simple pleasures. If you’re an extrovert, don’t worry, all these cosy activities can be done with friends to make them more social. Bonfires with friends, hayrides, and corn mazes are some good group options for memorable and cosy gatherings. So, instead of getting upset over the end of summer, embrace these cosy activities and you never know you may really enjoy them.

Fall Fashion

The most amazing part about the fall season has to be the fashion aspect of it. Leave all the lightweight clothing behind and welcome the opportunity to layer up in stylish sweaters, scarves, and boots. The rich, warm colours and textures, the long trenches, stylish tweed hats, and all the cosy materials make this season a fashion paradise. Whether you're a fan of plaid, earthy tones, or the classic leather jacket, fall gives you endless possibilities for expressing your personal style, and with temperatures changing, you have time for different combinations.

Colours and Patterns

You can’t argue that fall is the season where colours and patterns come alive. During fall, nature becomes a stunning canvas, with trees changing their green leaves for vibrant shades of red, orange, and yellow. The landscape becomes an amazing mosaic of colours, making fall the perfect time for nature enthusiasts and photographers. But these colours are not only present in nature. Fall also brings with it a switch in interior décor, with cosy and rustic elements such as pumpkins, cinnamon-scented candles, and warm-coloured throws finding their way into homes. So if you’re not a nature enthusiast, there’s something for you too.

Thanksgiving

Finally, Thanksgiving, the famous fall holiday, serves as the grand finale of the season. Whilst this is predominantly an American thing there are plenty of Americans living abroad that still hold this tradition and other countries now enjoy thanksgiving too. It's the perfect time to come together with family and friends, express gratitude, and get excited about the delicious spread of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Thanksgiving is an opportunity to pause and reflect on the blessings in our lives, adding a sense of unity and appreciation to the end of this beautiful and meaningful season.

xXx
