 **Collaborative Post**

AD: The sun has finally decided to start making a more regular appearance and it's been lovely! It definitely has me excited for summer, trips to the beach, barbeques with friends and afternoons spent with a cold drink in hand watching the kids splash around in the paddling pool. But before all that I need to do our big winter-to-summer clothes switch, happily chucking the big winter coats and welly boots into the loft for another year, and saying hello to all the pretty summer clothes!

I don't know about you but I try to reuse a lot of my clothes but love adding a few new key pieces each season which I can use alongside what I already have. Recently, in anticipation of the arrival of summer, I have been checking out the range from Lands' End. Lands' End has fashion for the whole family and their focus is on elegance combined with practicality and comfort which for me makes the perfect match for summer fashion!

So with that in mind, I have picked out some of my favourite women's pieces that I think would be perfect for this summer and to help inspire you to get your wardrobe summer ready! Check them out below and let me know what you think in the comments.

Fashion Must Haves this Autumn/Winter Season

 **Advertisement Feature**

As the darker, colder evenings draw in and those long summer evenings become a distant memory, it must mean that autumn is here with winter not too far away either. So as we pack away our summer wardrobe and dig out those trusty winter favourites (onesies for the win right...?) I am sharing some of my autumn/winter must haves for this year. From going out to staying in, here are some pieces you will want to add to your wardrobe for this winter season.

Remember winter doesn't have to be all dark, muted colours and knitted jumpers. It can be fun, colourful and cosy too. Here are some of my suggestions from Femme Luxe for winter wardrobe staples that can be mixed and matched with the rest of your wardrobe this winter for comfy, seasonal fashion statements.

Pixie Dixie PJs **REVIEW**

There is something about new bedding and new pyjama's that everyone including myself seems to love. Especially now as the darker and colder autumn/winter nights start rolling in we all start snuggling back in to our warm cosy pyjama's.

So when the lovely people at Pixie Dixie offered both James and Evelyn some new pyjama's from their iconic British designs range I knew they would be perfect for the colder nights!

Pixie Dixie is a British company established in 2006 making Kids' PJs that they love to wear and mums love to buy. All of our Boys' Pyjamas and Girls' Nightwear and Baby Gifts are made from high quality, 100% cotton jersey. Pixie Dixie Kids' PJs feature iconic British designs such as London taxis and buses, princesses crowns, marching soldiers and gliding swans.

I chose the knights on horse back design for James and the pink gliding swans design for Evelyn.

When they arrived I hurriedly pulled them out of the packaging and was amazed at the softness of them! The PJs are 100% jersey cotton which makes them really soft, incredibly warm and require NO ironing (extra thumbs up!).

I chose the crew neck design for both James and Evelyn with both tops featuring a classic crew neck and long sleeves and the full length trousers have an elasticated waistband so are not too restricting as they move around in the night.

I have to admit I was a little apprehensive at washing them as as the colours in the designs are lovely and vibrant and the background a crisp white. I thought the design may fade or bleed in to the white, however I was pleasantly surprised to find this was not the case. The PJs washed incredibly well and the colours are still bright after several washes, they also both kept there shape well and look as good as new with no signs of bobbling or shrinkage.

Priced at £29.99 each these PJs are a little more expensive than I would usually pay out for nightwear but you can really tell the quality of these PJs and I am sure they are going to last ages (well until one of them has a growth spurt!). These would make a lovely gift or if you are putting together a Christmas eve box these would make a fantastic addition as Christmas PJs!

Pixie Dixie PJs come in a great size range with pyjama's and nightwear available in sizes 1-10 years and if the crew neck design isn't for you they also sell the same designs in a classic pyjamas style too!

If you want to check out more of the Pixie Dixie designs or order your own then check out the Pixie Dixie website for the full range - www.pixiedixie.co.uk

The Picklesuit **REVIEW**

If you have had a baby or are currently pregnant you will be more than aware of the amount of products on the market that claim to make life a little bit easier, however we are also aware that not all of them actually work!

I recently came across the Picklesuit as a product that claimed the make life a little bit easier by avoiding those pesky poppers on the legs of baby grows, so we were delighted to be given the opportunity to try it out.

The Picklesuit is an innovative design that brings to the market a new system of opening and closing your babies babygrow. The Picklesuit replaces leg poppers with chunky moulded plastic zips with clever fabric flaps to cover and protect the legs from the zips making it super comfy to wear.

Firstly I would like to say the Picklesuit came beautifully packaged wrapped in tissue paper with a Picklebee logo sticker, then placed inside a pretty yellow organza bag. It looked so pretty when it arrived it could have easily been given as a gift just as it came!

The body part of the suit still features the usual poppers meaning it lays flat to the body and doesn't bubble up (as I often find with full zip suits). The Picklesuit also features non slip feet in sizes 6 months plus giving extra security for those babies on the move like Evelyn!

The Picklesuit we received pictured above is made from super soft yet stretchy micro fleece but if that may be a bit too warm for your little one the Picklesuit also comes in cotton!

The sizes are really generous for the Picklesuit! We received the 12-18 months size as Evelyn is very long as is currently wearing 12-18 month leggings however this suit still has lots of growing room. I love that the size is generous especially for when Evelyn sleeps in her Picklesuit as I like her to have room to move around so this was perfect.

I was a little apprehensive as to whether the suit would actually help make changing any quicker but after using it a few times I was sold on the idea! Its make quick nappy changes so much quicker. It is also much less fiddly especially now Evelyn wants to be on the move all the time and her legs certainly don't stay still long enough to do up all the poppers on a normal grow, but the Picklesuit solves that as it is just 2 simple quick zips.

The Picklesuit is available is sizes newborn all the way up to 18-24 months and is priced at £19.

To check out the other designs available or to purchase a Picklesuit for your little one check out the Picklebee website - www.picklebeelimited.co.uk.

Moodles applique tops **REVIEW**

We recently received some really funky t-shirts in the post for James and Evelyn from the lovely Moodle's. We love to support local businesses and that is just what Moodle's is as they are based in Bristol just a short car journey for us!

Moodle's is a small business which began in 2011 with a focus on providing high-quality hand-made gifts.  The inspiration was in the cherry-picked fabric designs which were used to create unique products, including personalised t-shirts, hoodies and baby blankets.  From the outset Moodle's sourced t-shirts and baby grow's which were made in England - ensuring a high-quality, unique and local product which was not mass-produced overseas.

James's top is made from 100% cotton and feels very thick, soft and warm. The hero mask is appliqued in the Moodle's store and each mask is unique! The sizes do seem to be very generous; James usually wears a 6-7 top this is a 5-6 and fits him really well so as suggested on the website if in doubt or in between sizes definitely order a size down. These are available in sizes 3-6 months all the way up to 5-6 years and are priced at £12.50.

Evelyn's top is also made from 100% cotton and was also very warm and soft. I really liked the fact in wasn't in typically "girly colours" and the sky blue of the top really set of the brown and pale pinks, greens and blues in the flower that had been appliqued on store into the top. Also priced at £12.50 and available is sizes 3-6 months right up to 5-6 years.

Both of the tops we received washed very well, both remained soft after washing and neither shrunk or stretched and remained true to their size. The colours also stayed vibrant, and the applique still looks as good as new.

The delivery from Moodle's in fantastic. Our tops arrived very quickly packed beautifully in red tissue paper and topped with a cute cherry sticker. Moodle's aim to deliver your products as quickly as possible. If they do not have the item in stock, they aim to have your product made within 2 days and will even email you to inform you when you item is ready to collect or being posted!

Moodle's don't just sell tops they have a wide range of baby and children's clothing plus accessories and lots of products that would make fantastic gifts! Why not pop over to the website and check out all the great products they have on offer here - moodles.biz.

Moodle's are always updating their stock and you can always stay up to date with all the latest news and products via the Facebook page here - www.facebook.com/Moodles.

Sarah, the lovely lady behind Moodle's is hopefully planning on hold workshops during the morning in her store in Bristol for new mums. Where you can design your own baby grow /baby blanket/bib/bunting and the idea is that you choose your fabrics from the Moodle's extensive stash, then draw and cut out the design, iron it in place, then come back and collect it the following week when Sarah has stitched it for you. Tea and cake will also be included! Does that sound like something you would be interested in?

Have you checked out the website yet? What's your favourite product from there?
